By Metro

  • From Noord metro station (the terminal station of the metro in Noord), use the rear exit near the elevators (not towards the buses).
  • Walk down the stairs and turn left towards Boven IJ shopping center (the road is called: Gare du Nord). Walk over the bridge and turn right towards Loenermark (tall apartment buildings). After a senior center, turn left onto a footpath (also Loenermark).
  • Walk under the Waddenweg into the residential area (Plan van Gool, colored walkways at the second-floor level). Continue until you reach the orange walkway. There, you will find a buzzer panel.
  • Ring the bell at the glass front under the orange tunnel (enter 62 + bell symbol). Take the elevator or stairs to the 3rd floor.
  • Walk through the orange tunnel to the other apartment building. Turn left along the gallery to the corner: Bovenover 62.
  • Bovenover is the gallery along the connected upper floors of several apartment buildings in the residential area (Plan Van Gool) between Buikslotermeerplein (shopping center), Waddenweg, and Nieuwe Purmerweg. By car or bicycle, you can enter via the street Het Breed to the entrance of Bovenover 62 (on some maps, this street is called Het Laagt).

See the map for access roads. From Buikslotermeerplein shopping center, follow sign 1. From Purmerweg, follow signs 2 and 3.

By Bicycle

  • From ferry F2 to IJplein: Ride down Meeuwenlaan. At the small roundabout, take Waddenweg, then follow the bike path through the tunnel at the T-junction of bike paths to the right and immediately to the left. Take the second exit to the right under the apartment building to the entrance of Bovenover 62.
  • From ferry F3 to Buiksloterweg. Along the Noordhollandsch Canal to the small bicycle bridge. Here cross the canal, turn left and right at the bottom of the dike. Before the roundabout, take the bike path under the highway to the left and through the tunnel under the road to the right. Continue in the same direction until you pass under the apartment building to the entrance of Bovenover 62.
