Initiation
People who would like to learn Kriya Yoga must first receive initiation from a teacher authorized by Paramahamsa Hariharananda or Paramahamsa Prajnanananda.
During initiation the body, mind, chakras and sense organs are purified. Then one can experience cosmic light, sound, and vibration. These divine experiences can help you to deepen your meditation.
For initiation please bring:
- Five fruits, representing the fruits of all actions (the causal body)
- Five flowers, representing the world of thoughts, originating from the five senses (the astral body)
- Donation of € 150 representing the gross world (the physical body)
After the initiation ceremony, Kriya Yoga techniques will be taught and there will be guided meditations. New initiates are advised to attend at least three meditation classes which will help to properly learn and apply the techniques individually at home.
